About Let’s Pretend

As a mum of three young children, I know how important it is to keep our little ones amused in safe and secure surroundings, whilst still being able to relax and enjoy a coffee and a chat with friends.

My ambition

Let’s Pretend is a dream I’ve been working on for over four years.

When Elliott, Elsa and Jemima were little, I discovered children’s role play centres and saw how much my children loved them.

At the time, we had nothing like this in the Redhill and Reigate area so it became my ambition to create my own.

Relax and enjoy

A vital part of developing Let’s Pretend has been to make sure the experience is just as enjoyable for the adults as it is for the children.

Comfy seating with delicious food and drink became high up on my agenda. And of course, the ability to see the children at play at all times.

All in the detail

I’ve spent a lot of time making sure every little detail has been thought of in our play areas. You’ll find lovely little touches in every space. It’s also incredibly important to me that Let’s Pretend plays a part in looking after the world we live in by limiting waste and not having any single-use plastics in our cafe.

Our coffee beans are ethically sourced from Manumit – a company which offers hope and dignity to survivors of modern slavery. All of Manumits profits are invested in local and international anti-slavery projects.

Come and play

I look forward to seeing the joy on children’s faces as they explore our magical world of adventure.

I really hope you love Let’s Pretend as much as I do.
